Very great insight actually!! My workflow would be the opposite though by using 3D for drafting and going over it in 2D becuase I’m a 2D animator 😂

didn't find this until now, but this has to be one of my favorite animations to ever exist. This is insane, i love it so much! and as a sampo enjoyer (that's understatement) it means that much more that you focused in on him! Thanks for making such an incredible piece! I've watched it like 20 times now and every time I still get chills at how good it is!

you should draw the effects with grease pencils or make them with cel shading for reusability’s sake, without it, looks slow and we lose the impact of some punches that you anticipate veeery well. apart from that I love the style
