Funny how life works out sometimes… I adored John for years. I mean, he’s like Michael Jordan of guitar playing. Then, left the band (I’ll skip the first time here, but they fucked Dave big time for no good reason) for the second time… Ok. Josh stepped up and saved the day. Did an amazing job by the way and Dark necessities is a master piece. They didn’t have a song like that in yeeeaaars… Then John decides to come back. They get rid of Josh like a bad habit… Same like with Dave Navarro, by the way. Then they made an absolutely irrelevant, medoicre, forgettable record… And all the while, for the last 30+ years, they never play any of the songs that weren’t recorded with/by John… In the words of Chandler Bing - could someone be a bigger asshole than John?
