Me encanta Peter Lukas Graft.

Wunderbar.

We play Book 2 of the compilation as we found the best melodies are to be found there. The only thing we lack is the variety and scope of different colours provided by diverse instruments.

Interesting; I would interpret it with the bass and drums playing at double speed, swinging very hard. Low and powerful, like the confusion of war.

I heard this performed in Belfast on Friday night with Finghin as the soloist, and was completely blown away. Bravo! My new favourite Piano Concerto!

Magnificent interpretation of this little-known masterpiece.

Probably too young, here, to interpret this incredibly difficult Masterpiece. No sense of real drama, no individuation of the particular timbric dimension of Schumann's pianism, no dream-like expression in the second movement that Is the spiritual core of this Sonata. Piemontesi is at his best in Schubert, his Author par excellence.

Excelente.

Given the relative paucity of the flute repertoire it's astonishing that this tremendous piece isn't more widely known and performed. Let's face it, if Beethoven had written this, flute players would be all over it. What little music LVB did compose for the flute is vastly inferior to this.
