Saw her with UTI’s at the Woodman Yard. This era of Graf was a great experience. RTD’s were our Subways, were Pilots and White Meanstreaks Uniball’s and Ultra-wides were our tools.

Trixter is the core of hip hop, most writers either break or spin outside of writing, it was like this in Chicago and Chi is a dj town and 90's was huge time even late 80's for bombers to get up. you'd see tags everywhere and a lot of the same writers getting up everywhere, billboards, trains and top of buildings etc

Bruh read the comments, watch the interview. Please do YOUR homework & know your history. Writers that came up in the early 90s didn't even have the internet, it was still an underground art form. Writers were trading photos in the mail to see stuff in other cities & very few magazines were out. Two dudes from different coasts & different eras. There are a few "double" names in the game due to this reason, the real heads know who is who and who put in the work, I think if you Google "TRIXTER GRAFFITI" you'll get an idea. Maximum respect to the architect, triple OG Trixter FEDS from Chicago but DJ TRIXTER aka MR. TRIXTER from L.A. , West Coast Artists and also part of UTI MTA FSC RF TPS has paid a LOT of dues consistently for three and a half decades and is still an active writer. Not that many writers can say that. If you peep the interview you get an understanding that his career is 100% organic, the name came from skating and DJing. Trixter WCA also came from an era when it was all about the battle. Dude can DJ and hangs with the best of the best as far as piecing. I look at it kinda like the rap game, you got the originators in the east and you got the innovators out west. Put the two to the test? I'd put my money on West Coast Trixter hands down. The proof out there for eyes to see.

Most graff pods are trash due mostly to the interviewer and also choice of guests. This POD is the best graff pod PERIOD!
@RiddimCitySound17 сағат бұрын
The reason is because ALL of the other podcasts are not run by writers that know the history and really dedicated decades to the craft. The other ones out there are not as authentic and not as interesting for this reason. This is a channel that is for us by us.. BIG UP SKIL and the whole CB team , you guys are doing great a job! Salute CLASSIC BURNERS!

Interesting graffiti channel. TRIXTER seems like a super cool cat (Rockin' those fly Airmax Nikes, too). I really enjoy watching these one-on-one interviews. . . It also provides me with a deep dive into the lives of different graffiti writers trial & tribulations, and how they wiggled up out of the toxic parts. Keep'em skating in, ya'll. This bombing duo reminds me so much of how I and 'teZ' used to get down. Cool interview.

From Melb, AUS. Got into etching abit and also think volcanic rocks work best, but people would never believe it. They're also what our Metro uses as track rocks, conveniently.
