I did a test patch with a very week solution of hypo to see if reacted to hypo and didn’t stain first. Then used a weak solution on the rest. Got to be carful with hypo on limestone. Not to strong with the mix

Great video. Can I ask a question. I recently cleaned my porcelain patio with my jet wash and it come up great. I have noticed moss I starting to grow back very quickly. Does sodium hypochlorite help prevent the growth coming back as quick. As when I cleaned it I didn’t use any chemical. I was thinking if I bought some sodium hypochlorite and brush it in like you have done then just rinse it down with a garden hose hopefully that would work as I don’t think I need to bust out my pressure washer again. Thanks for the videos they are very helpful

Hi Connor, hypo will kill off the moss or maybe treat with a biocide to stop regrowth. Don’t chemically treat if chance the run off can go into a pond. Rinse off with garden hose for hypo but leave biocide on, no rinse down. Hope that helps

Just checked Sid’s channel, he’s was more exploding water. Mines a bit different but Sid has taught me loads and love his channel ps He doesn’t use the intro now he just jumps straight in 👍🏻

@@miklee9308 always start of with a 1 in 4 mix of hypo. If that don’t touch it try again with 50/50 and then try neat hypo

I just finished presser washing the front of my house, the deck, concrete and some paving stones that had moss on them. I had never been so filthy! 😂 All of the mud flying up at my face had me wishing I’d worn goggles! What a great invention those machines are!

I recently cleaned my drive and the white lichen started to reappear a week later, I cleaned the drive with hypochlorite , let it sit for 45 mins before rinsing and it's still coming back . Help?

Hi, did you pressure wash the lichen after hypo or rinse. As the lichen lifts off with a pressure wash. You could always apply a biocide treatment to any stubborn lichen after that over time should clear it. But a rinse after hypo will not remove any lichen. Hope this helps

Hi , that’s not a polisher. It’s a surface cleaner that has to water jets that sit on the ends of a spinning arm. That water pressure is what cleans the tiles. Thanks for watching

I'm near Houston. I love watching pressure washing and cleaning videos in the UK. People's homes are so beautiful. Here, my concept of a patio or driveway is just a plain slab of concrete. How common is that over there?

Hi, I don’t get many if not no concrete drives. All drives and patios are either block pavers, Indian sandstone or paving slabs. Never no what your walking into when going to quote for a job
