Met him once out on the street in St. Louis (not far from where he is from in Herman, MO). He was back in town for Chuck Berry’s remembrance and he was so fucking nice and down to earth - and this is during his current fame.

Think this is an amazing song about addiction and love the way it it moves into The Band's The Shape I'm In. Just love it! Saw The Band back in 1975 when they opened in 1975 for James Taylor and Emmy Lou was the opening act for the concert for both of acts. Such a great show. Still hoping to see Nathaniel Rateliff live at some point!
