Peter Obi is right. Nigerians overdo certain things. He was trying to tell Nigerians that faith without works is dead. Some people can pray till thy kingdom come and remain on the 'mountain' praying for miracles which can only come by working without actually going out to look for work to do. Many have missed the whole essence of Pst Iren's address to what Obi said. Obi's stand was clear out of many things he said. That there's too many church activities. And so he will turn night vigils to night shift. Obi apparently thinks that church activities affect economic productivity. And that's not true. This is what Apostle Iren countered. People can maintain their religious activity and still work hard.

No explanation can excuse what he said, his choice of words especially!

Careless talk! Why not turn underbridge, nightclubs, motor parks to night shifts. Unbridled tongue!

No, I don't agree with you on miracle money part. I sent money to my aunty and I didn't want her to know it was from me, so I used a random person that cannot be traced to me. Did the exchange and he sent the money. So what will my Aunty do. For her that is a miracle money really. I know that people can take it to the extreme like keeping money sent on error but miracle money is real. What I am doing to her is miracles money. If she goes to the bank and report it. If they contact the sender, that is if, he will say it's not an error. Miracles money is real.

Knowledge is Power but a wrong application of knowledge takes away the Power. "Turning night vigils into night shifts" this is just an idiomatic expression that is relatable BUT projecting the Church to be dismantled on the same pedestal as politics is heresy especially by someone within the fold. We see people who are wealthy and people who have nothing in vigils all the time because motives vary in the degree of what they seek. (At some point he went to churches that were not catholic in search for votes) Obi's intent may be authentic but his presentation was faulty and he needs to set the record straight.

I support Mr Ede and Seri Smart actually.And there's something i know Mama always say "Investigate before you invest" it works. But now 3 months into marriage and finding out this,Omoo before a divorce,there should be a discussion with God, the person and also Your Relationship mentor or Spiritual Head and family too. Sometimes divorce is the next option because we dont want to be patient enough to fix the situation with Christ. Change takes time but at the end, you'll enjoy the testimony.
