Hi Nishant, AI ko graphic designer replace karne me abhi time hai :) Creativity kafi subjective cheez hai. and getting specific designs from AI is still not perfect. So next 5-10 years tak you can easily grow in this career, then evolve into different roles. Also, you should definitely learn to use AI tools, because baaki ke graphic designers definitely use kar rahe hai already.

Hi Arhan, AI Engg to AI PM is definitely possible. Honestly with the speed at which technology is moving, Senior PMs and Product leadership need as much help as possible in understanding AI , and if they get an AI Engg to join their team as a PM, it can help them visualize possible AI solutions. Only thing is, you'll have to learn core PM concepts and focus on the Customer pain points, not just the tool or language or LLM. hope that helps!

Hi Amal, yes, you can switch to PM from any field. Try to build a Portfolio of projects and Product notes you created for these projects. Focus on UX+Business+Tech in these portfolios. Also, try writing a Press release document for your product (like amazon's press method) Go as deep as possible, It'll give you an idea of what to expect in this role. but AI PM might need some experience in PM beforehand. Hope that helps!

Thanks a lot! Lots of useful content coming up :) There's a detailed video on AI PM coming up, but it'll take a while to release. So here's a draft till then : - learn the basics of UX first, before PM or AI PM stuff. Understand core UX concepts like Design principles, User research, Aha moment, how to get users hooked onto applications, and retain them. - Then go into PM concepts like Product discovery, North star Metrics, how to write great Product notes, practically how to work with engineers to get a product built, and give feedback. - Then finally go into AI PM, understand how LLMs work, what FineTuning and RAG is, how to scale AI apps. It's easy to build Prototypes with AI - the difficult part is making it production ready and scale. Hope this helps :)

:) Valid point. if you're in a large company where you have security constraints, ask IT to setup Github copilot, then you won't need this tool. But if you're a student, such tools can save you a lot of money !

Hi Ayush, I did complete the coursera course. While i can't comment on the pricing as my company gave me the course for free, I can help you with the content . If you're new to AI , definitely go for it. it gives you a complete overview, and the assignments will help you get your hands dirty and in the game. The only problem is, the AI world is changing so rapidly, you'll still need to work on a lot of fresh new concepts after that as well , like agents, newer LLM models, langchain etc. But in general, coursera is still considered a good option amongst interviewers , so it'll give you the credibility for sure. The best thing to do would be to setup a 1-1 with a senior PM in your exisitng company. If you can get a fellowship, that'll be the best way to transition. Also, you'll have to learn core PM concepts and focus on the Customer pain points, not just the tool or language or LLM. hope that helps!

@nature-ez2fz , Thanks for the comment :) So first of all, you should really ask youself why you want to go into PM at all, because to be a good Software PM, you need to be good at multiple skillsets like understanding how Tech solutions are built, UI/UX of well designed apps, people management, Leadership amongst others. Any above all, are you building something which really matters to you and to your audience? If you think this is what you want to do, then I plan to do a detailed video on Roadmap to becoming a PM.
