We found evidence of someone trying to remove the windshield previously, and it looks like they were using a torch to try and soften the adhesive. The top of the windshield glass has some scorching on it, too!

man it looks so rusty and greasy but in the next video after electrolisys, it revealed a lot of blue factory paint. Surprising :)
@masonjargarageАй бұрын
I was really surprised at how much blue paint was still under all of that nastiness!

@@masonjargarage I'll keep this in mind for the future if I'm trying to keep some patina hahaha

Rear window needs to be all the way down for gate to open like a tailgate

I suspected that to be the case. I'm hoping to get a battery in it this weekend so I can find out what all is actually working!

In Canada, the Pontiac was called Beaumont, and was basicly a rebadged Chevelle/ Malibu.

If you already have one, this could be a pahts cah, (Boston Dialect).

Your going to put that back on the road?, good luck.
@masonjargarage2 ай бұрын
Ha, not really. Just joking around. This thing has already found a new home in the scrap yard.

Ha ha. I can't sell it yet! I need something to drive to nationals. Also, it's super freaking cool. I wanna see it back on the road. It's nice to know I'm not the only one who likes it, though.

Not a bad looking Wagon.

In 1983, U.S got the Pontiac Parisienne from Canada, the wagon was sold until 1989, called the Safari.

Probably a 301, which would have been a 305 in California, because the 301 didn't meet California Emissions.
@masonjargarage2 ай бұрын
Thanks! It's a 350, and the VIN actually lists it as a 350 4bbl. Motor is supposedly good. I guess we'll see!

I've run these in the past 3 diferent sets, 2 diferent cars at least 1 blew up a the separated treads messes up a quarter panel or fender.
@masonjargarage2 ай бұрын
Oh no! This is my first set. I've seen them recommended by a lot of people. Fingers crossed these work out alright. I saw that happen one time on a friend's car with a brand new General tire, but they never had issues with the others.
