The way his death was portrayed in the show was so real. He was gone in an instant, terrifying and unnerving. It’s so real.

JJ was a hero to all of us but you never know if he come back in season 5 there is more to JJ story like in the season 4 when JJ was breaking the windows and he got a ring maybe that ring was for kie and JJ never get the Chance to see john b turn into a dad. JJ did not Deserve this. His life can't be over yet and JJ deserve so much Where was the energy for JJ when he was dying. When everyone was saving someone else where was the energy for him. WE NEED HIM BACK. WITHOUT JJ THE SHOW WILL FALL APART. 😭😭❤❤❤

Out of every OBX character is every episode of every season JJ was the one that deserved the world. And in a way he got it... even if it was only for a little while.... (He was abused, beaten, and mistreated but he still fought. His "father" abused him his whole and then his actual father killed him.... If Groff wasn't a murderer before.... he is now...) He put his life on the line more than once for his friends... He was a friend. A hero. A jokester. A fighter. But above all else... he was a Pogue. In life and death cause Pogues are for life! 😭😭😭😭😭😭 R.I.P JJ I am going to watch season 5 if for no other reason than to see JJ Maybank avenged.

Not gonna lie, at this point George is a comfort character, I bawled when he died. One of the best written dads of sitcom/TV shows. Not a lot of them are written like him in my opinion

Tried to watch the last season with my mom when it was airing, but got called in for work out of town. Just finished the last few episodes yesterday, by far one of the most impactful shows I’ve ever watched. I remember when my dad passed at 15, it was like déjà vu. I can’t tell you how many times I thought and still think about those last moments with my dad before he left out the door to go to work (teacher as well) wish I coulda stopped him or told him he was my world. Love ya forever dad
