Tyson did fine for a 58 year old injured ex boxer, against a much younger and fitter heavy puncher who is an active uprising phenomenon. He tried to knock Jake out on the first couple of rounds, he didn't manage and so he then put himself in to stamina and safety mode in order to not be knocked out himself, he needed to be careful and couldn't be aggressive etc. So not too sure if the fight was rigged as people suggest, I mean why go home with $20 million and not with $40? He never scripted fights when he was in need of money and he would do so now that he is wealthy? I don't think so. What he did was a great achievement. An accomplishment that not many men on this planet could have managed. Having said that, I would like to congratulate Jake for respecting Mike and not trying to knock out (especially on the 3rd round).

Im hearing what your saying valid points. I still feel in some sense Jake knew how things was gonna go and took advantage of that

@@Trenny Well, if the fight was scripted, then they surely had a "no-knockout" agreement. I wont knock you out on the first couple of rounds that you know that I probably can, you won't knock me out when I get tired and we will either go for a draw or let the points decide, we'll take it easy on one another, none of us gets hurt or embarrassed and that's it. But I still think that Mike's mind wanted, his body probably couldn't follow up (although we witnessed different things in his training and sparring sessions all along during the fight preparation, but why would he train himself so hard if he didn't intend to at least try and win?) It's like a puzzle, really.

Given the disparity between Tyson's performance in his training videos and how poorly he performed in the fight coupled with the fact those who would have to pay out if Tyson won...what is the probability Tyson throw the fight? The idea that Mike Tyson might have thrown the fight is speculative and difficult to quantify without direct evidence. However, the probability of this happening can be considered based on the following key points Factors to Consider: Training vs. Fight Performance: Training Videos: If Tyson's training videos showcased high levels of skill and fitness, but his in-ring performance fell drastically short, it raises questions about the disparity. However, age-related declines can be unpredictable, and public training footage might not fully represent an athlete’s readiness. Fight Night Factors: Health issues, nerves, or specific strategies might explain underperformance. Financial and Stakeholder Interests: Betting Payouts: The heavy betting on Tyson as an underdog would mean significant losses for bookmakers had he won. A financial incentive for him to lose could be theorized but would require substantial coordination and evidence. Payday Guarantees: Both fighters were guaranteed significant payouts regardless of the result, potentially reducing Tyson's incentive to win at all costs. Fight Integrity: Performance Metrics: Statistically, Tyson was vastly outperformed, landing very few punches compared to Jake Paul. This alone isn’t definitive proof of throwing a fight but could be analyzed alongside other inconsistencies. Behavior in the Ring: If Tyson’s actions appeared uncharacteristically passive or self-sabotaging, it could fuel such suspicions. Regulatory Oversight:Sanctioning Bodies: Boxing commissions monitor fights closely, and throwing a match is a serious offense with career-ending implications. Allegations would need substantial evidence to avoid legal consequences. Evaluating Probability: Assigning a probability to Tyson throwing the fight requires a framework: Bayesian Analysis: Prior belief in Tyson’s integrity + evidence of anomalous behavior. Direct Evidence: Without clear indicators like leaked communications, insider admissions, or financial irregularities, the probability remains low. Historical Context: Tyson’s reputation has been colorful, but he's known for fiercely competitive fights. While the possibility can be entertained given the financial and performance disparity, the probability is low without corroborating evidence. It’s critical to rely on verified sources and avoid making assumptions solely based on speculation.

Guys, Tyson is literally fighting injured, the guy has a messed up back and spine, he uses that back and spine to bend and shift all over the place during the fight.

It was in the rules no knock outs it should of never be shown on tv no one should of showed up or bought tickets. Jake and mike went and partied together afterwards. Mike probably heard what other people were paid to pretend fight jake but no matter what mike still is respected , loved and has become a totally different man since his prime. Even though he lost the fight , it was the only thing mike lost we all know mike proved himself long ago and if he just needed the money no one cares glad he was able to do it and hopefully it’s plenty enough for him to be comfortable the rest of His days. Jake on the other hand gained absolutely nothing but some money and a weak sorry ass no good Win for a loser really really have to stop entertaining his stuff. Video comes up of him do not recommend it everytime. Dislike anything of his (don’t comment at all bad interactions are still interactions to KZbin facebook etc) Jake is literally the picture in the dictionary for negative aura
