Another way is paper on one side and lined paper on the other. Makes a really fun to-do list journal :)

Wonderful ideas for adding pockets to journal pages. I’m going to make the pockets en Mass to have ready to use. Thank you, Norma.

Hi Norma, it is quite interesting listening to you talk as I craft, I understand about not being able to spell, as it wasn't until I got my first set of hearing aids at 43 did I realize how deaf I was, it's hard to learn English and school was a nightmare. The reason I mention that is could you maybe had some deafness? My whole life has also been effected by deafness, luckily it doesn't stop our talent for Crafting. Love everything you do, kind regards from Australia.

8/19/24: I like this project, saw your last video on how to construct this book -- very cool, but what I don't like is the puckering of the papers which comes from the glue. I personally would use two-sided craft tape on the edges to avoid that problem and fill in the rest with some wet glue. All in all, though, it's a project that can be worked very well. Thank you for sharing it. It definitely gives me ideas and there's a lot that can be done with this kind of book.

Looks nice after decoration. Maybe better to use double sided tape so the paper doesn't get wrinkles because it's wet from the glue?

There are glues you can use that don't do this...Beacon glue is one

Nice idea. May I suggest you align the flap envelope first where it needs to be, so you have the gap you need at the spine, fix it with a pin and then glue. Makes it easier. I often use use clips when cutting covers etc. If you don't have a paper cutter and use rulers and measure, that also makes it easier to duplicate correct sizes. In any case, you also can alter your idea to a mini album, just cut the envelopes open on top or the side so you get big pockets, or glue smaller pockets on to the envelopes. Be creative. Your idea is a very good basis. Greetings from Germany❤

This is a clever method. It seems a shame to 'waste' the pockets created naturally by the envelopes

Loved this series on how to put together a stacked envelope journal. Was dismayed at your being offput by cats from one childhood encounter. I have had many cats flitter through my life, mostly through rescue, each staying as long as they could, and they have enhanced and enriched my life. They are sensitive, sentient beings, and I feel lucky to have known them.
