@@Hi-Fi369 Hi! What a wonderful story and memory to have! I love David's pioneering of the direct to consumer strategy, and a personal delivery is above and beyond commitment! They must be very special to you indeed :) I love the Parsecs and they were my first high class speaker as well! I had a pair of stacked advents that served me well for many years, and about 6 months ago felt I was ready for an upgrade. I found the Icons through a local shop called Holt Hill Audio. I liked that they were made in Billerica, MA, which is where I currently work, so I went in for a demo and purchased on the spot. They are exactly what I was hoping for. Powerful yet delicate when they need to be, and extremely engaging. I was able to contact David as well via email and he kindly shared some history and tips on setup/usage. Overall I couldn't be happier and plan to use them for a very long time! Out of curiosity, would you happen to still have the owners manual? David no longer has one and I would love to read through it! Thank you!

you didn't say which was which, and I thought you might say at the end of the vid if the Yarbo was first or second, so I listened without assuming which was first or second. I liked the second sample of each of the set of recordings.... I still don't know if standard or Yarbo was first or second, but for me, it was consistent and always the 2nd. Many subtitles i came through with a bit more clarity, or as much as the KZbin and my computers setup would allow, in the second playbacks....... I went in with no expectations or assumptions of which was which.... but I did enjoy the #2's

Hi, if you like the second sample then you like the Yarbo Power Cord. The first example is the standard power cord 🔌 also if you noticed when I played the example track you can see at the top right corner showing the power cord I’m playing. I know most people don’t believe in cables that the stock cables is good enough but you be surprised. Thanks! for your feedback much appreciate 👽✌🏼

@@Hi-Fi369 ya know what?, I never really paid attention to the picture in the upper right corner, just thought it was the channel logo and didn't watch it at all....... now that I watch a second time, since you mentioned it, I did see the change...........guess I was focused more on my hearing rather than my sight..... Just reinforced my decision to buy a meter and a half and roll my own.....

@@Goofyahhlookin-mk7mc hi, yes is a digital integrated amplifier same as the Marantz PM-95 with the TDA1541A-S1 converter is a really good d/a. If you guys not familiar with the TDA1541’s dac I highly recommend. Also is a 30 watts class A and about 120 watts class A/B. Thanks for the comments👍🏼😊👽✌🏼

Hi, sure to be honest with you is a great amplifier for the money. This little amp can rock. I was kinda surprised how well played my Kharma Minis with great results. Nicely soundstage with great tone, detail, clean and smooth, bass was great too more than enough for me. So far my only complaint is the remote when controlling the volume up is not that accurate but is all good 😊Thanks for watching and Enjoy! the music 🎶🎷👽✌🏼
