i have a very similar problem its very annoying, I'm trying to use the big pistens for the universal grinders so I can lifet them up and kind of swallow rocks up but they just do what yours did and flap about. whats interesting is that this is not a issue in creative mode which leads me to belive its 00fants fault not the games physics. have you found a solution to this problem yet?

Hi, great video I just got the omtech 100w and for some reason when I try to cut 1/2 in. it leaves burn marks around the wood maybe is my air assist I'm about to upgrade it this weekend. I don't know if that helps a lot. how many watts is your lase? and what kind of wood do you recommend to cut 1/2 in. ? thanks and God Bless

Mine is a RECI W1 80W, and I think the big contributing factors are alignment and focal distance for thick woods. Air helps prevent the charring, but thick cuts like a well tuned beam with no lateral skew as it travels. As for wood type, Basswood cuts like butter. That was what I noticed.

@@ellsonengineering8082 I'm actually doing that today checking all my mirrors. The peace that came with my laser for the head distance to the material is about 3/4 inch. And yeah I seen videos of people cutting 1/2 & 3/4 with mine and i can't do that it would burn the wood. Maybe is the air assist and my mirrors not being aligned. Thank you sir and God bless I'll be trying basswood 👍👍

I am having some problem in Fusion360 , when adding the MPCNC PP (from GitHub) in the local post folder it doesnt appear in the list when trying to chose it in the Post section in Fusion. I tried also the "Import" button in the menu where you chose the PP and it says it is "Invalid Post Processor" i really want to have a PP who puts the Macros in the Post screen , i need to add M62P1 and M63P1 to the code to fire up/down my laser in Mach4 . Why is MPCNC Invalid ? Where is your version from ? i would really appreciate to know ! Thanks

hi, I have marlin 2.0 with a laser mounted by Pam using M106 and M107 commands, the fact is that it works the other way around, the M107 and the M106 S0 puts it to work at 100% while the M106 S255 leaves it off. Do you know why this is happening to me? Thanks a lot!
@ellsonengineering8082

You are likely running it off the mosfet on the 12V side. There is no “ground” so one side is +12V and the other is “PWM” so when it is off you get 12V potential, and when “ON” you have both at 12V giving no potential. I tapped the signal at the TTL 5V level.

The Standard PC power switch is just a momentary input that goes from 5V and ground. If you use any digital out to the positive lead and connect common ground you just need to send a short pulse LOW to trigger the PC to switch on. Nothing special needed.
