A Short trip is less than an hour. I intentionally shop at a grocery store about 45 minutes away just to spend more time using FSD.

The only part of the video that was annoying was when you forwarded it at 4x speed - the music on the radio got distracting. Maybe you could mute or suppress it next time. I skipped through that section, but I enjoyed your commentary. Keep it up!

It’s not weird that no one is in car. The FSD software should’ve fully capable to drive itself !!! Without user intervention. What’s strange is that it has taken Tesla this long to release TASS…because in a parking lot it’s even safer than on neighbor streets, city streets, and highway driving!

The Chinese government has long been suspected of hiring as many as 2,000,000 people to surreptitiously insert huge numbers of pseudonymous and other deceptive writings into the stream of real social media posts, as if they were the genuine opinions of ordinary people. Many academics, and most journalists and activists, claim that these so-called “50c party” posts vociferously argue for the government’s side in political and policy debates. As we show, this is also true of the vast majority of posts openly accused on social media of being 50c. Yet, almost no systematic empirical evidence exists for this claim, or, more importantly, for the Chinese regime’s strategic objective in pursuing this activity. In the first large scale empirical analysis of this operation, we show how to identify the secretive authors of these posts, the posts written by them, and their content. We estimate that the government fabricates and posts about 448 million social media comments a year. In contrast to prior claims, we show that the Chinese regime’s strategy is to avoid arguing with skeptics of the party and the government, and to not even discuss controversial issues. We show that the goal of this massive secretive operation is instead to distract the public and change the subject, as most of the these posts involve cheerleading for China, the revolutionary history of the Communist Party, or other symbols of the regime. We discuss how these results fit with what is known about the Chinese censorship program, and suggest how they may change our broader theoretical understanding of “common knowledge” and information control in authoritarian regimes.

Rather take the train, it is self driving and I can walk around, buy some snacks, drink coffee, go to the toilet. Here I would be sitting in one position, but not be engaged in driving. That's like taking away all the good stuff, so give me a manual transmission car that I can play with or a train/ship where I can really relax all I want while travelling.

@@ericgregori All of your car crash statistics in USA will not be helped by FSD: FSD cannot drive for even 1 hour on a challenging route, without making mistakes. Less than 1 percent of cars in America are Tesla. And an even tinier percentage have paid for the buggy beta FSD software. A dumb level 2 assistant.

I wonder if this is why it stopped before going around? "On January 1, 2015, an addendum to Scott’s law went into effect in Illinois requiring motorists to slow down when they are approaching recycling trucks. This was an addition to an existing law that required vehicles to slow down when approaching garbage trucks. The law requires that a driver change lanes (if possible) or slow down below the posted speed limit, or risk a penalty of up to $10,000."
