These two are terrible at boxing even the boxer. He threw one jab, has terrible posture and footwork and no defense. I’m sorry but your black belt friend was open to a bunch of nasty uppercuts and check hooks that your “boxer” friend wasn’t able to see or utilize. If you all are in the Georgia area I would love to show you what I mean. I wrestled in highschool and did a little karate when I was younger but I’m into boxing now. That little bit of Karate does not mean I can throw an accurate head kick at all. Just like boxing “on and off” means you’re probably not that good as a boxer. Martial arts are about consistency and your black belt friend looks like he is very consistent with his training. Your boxer friend sucks

Honestly it all depends on the individual themselves. If you notice, the black belt had better boxing technique than the boxer which shouldn't have been the case and I thought he was actually the boxer just by his stance. When james toney fought randy couture, randy took james down within the first 30 seconds of the match and then dominated him on the mat as he should've and he has done so many people but if he would have stayed standing, james toney would have made randy look like a bobble head. But we'll never get to see that unfold. I think randy should have at least done a boxing match with him after the fight. That would have only been fair.
