Solar panels are notoriously hard to stitch together to create a clean ortho-image so we were looking into how well the RGB sensor does. We also looked at the NIR and R-EDGE photographs to see if we could detect anomalies.

Great video, easiest quickest I’ve seen that works. I need to find the balance of do I need 100 images or 200 images, more images = quality but takes more time. I see you exported file type “Cesium 3D tiles.zip” I’ve only worked with .OBJ. Is Cesium like a basic standard everything should open?

Sentera makes a good one. I believe it’s $400 as of right now.

@@jacksons_drones and once you've got pictures of the panel before and after the flight how do you use that reflectance data to normalize the dataset? Does the photogrammetry software ask for those reflectance pixels and output a normalized dataset?

@@RobShearerCA Yes. It is a step in your photogrammetry process. Each software is a little different but there is a step to calibrate your image reflectance.

Awesome I did not know the flight data was so large. I guess you can just keep the flight route for each field and delete the data of the other stuff as needed

1:57 & 3:26 both have Adaptive camera model fitting but you only selected it during Optimize. Im just trying to learn, are these both the same option or apply differently because of what step in the process it is?

Thats a great catch. I actually don't know what the different would be. What are you truing to process? You could try processing the dataset side-by-side and changing those parameters to find best results. If you do, please share your findings. Thank you for watching and subscribing.

Ajinkya Chandsarkar that’s a great question. At the moment there at no TFR’s over SF. So where I fly is all class G airspace. All F107 rules and regulations were followed during these flights
