It wasnt the aftermarket kit, it is original Brabus kit adds 68hp to your car, it was an 3000£ extra at the time, sadly you removed it comes in all 350cdi

Oh really, wow!! Well mine is a 320 cdi and the unit was dad so it had to go.. and for less than a £100 I will be getting it remapped via the ecu... I'll do a video and show how much extra hp / torque it generates. I'm sure I'll get more than 68..

@@carsteve_ourworld8947 brabus kit was in all 350cdi but for 320cdi it was an optional extra, i had myself this kit, and removed it to make stage 1, gearbox became very responsive with no delays . 270HP

@@carsteve_ourworld8947 I drove mine south over the Col de la Bonette staying at Castellane and Nice for 3 nights, then drove back via Route Napoleon in 2019. Fantastic week. Have just purchased a Shooting Brake so the 219 will be my runaround until my target of 250k. Love the 219, I will hate the day it goes.

@@mrcox216 nothing to do for kids was you even there? Dadcars had a whole stand on with activities,there was bouncy castle, Ferris wheel, toylanders. You mean you didn't want to part with cash 😂 Thankfully we was part of a trade stand and got straight in after arriving ALOT earlier.

@@mrcox216queuing aside (there's major outrage about this and I reckon something may be done about it by the organisers as they're at risk of being boycotted 😂), that hot wheels seller was absolutely outrageous. £20 for a hot wheels that's currently still on shelves for £2 is nuts, glad people actually voiced their opinions on his prices out loud as well. Hope he doesn't get invited again. There was another hot wheels seller on site who was a little more reasonable but easily missed as he was at the end of the trade stands.

The black “B” Post starts to delaminate and causes this crazed effect. Looks like it has been sprayed black at some time but is now coming off. Up to 187k miles on mine and still in ace condition.

I've picked up some carbon fiber effect wrap as well as some gloss black, I'll show how it looks in the next video. Is yours petrol or diesel? I'm having some DPF issues with mine..

@@carsteve_ourworld8947 320 Diesel, but with the Brabus D6 tuning box which effectively gives the same output as the last Grand Edition models. Have just had a set of new heater plugs fitted, the last set went in 60k ago, Apart from that, road springs, dampers, engine mounts and several suspension/steering joints. I must admit, I chose the 2008 facelift as I didn’t want any DPF problems.

Nice, sounds like a beast!! how much BHP are you generating? Mine is no where near that level yet but I've got some ideas, have already done front suspension and rear springs driving alot better.... But nothing more until I resolve the DPF issue!!!

@@carsteve_ourworld8947 I believe it was dealer fitted from new and I think they’re about 272 bhp and 590 Nm. I didn’t realise it was there until I found it under the cabin filter.
