During the end of 2011 and the beginning of 2012, Jared lost lots of weight for an upcoming movie he was starring in. He spent 2012 filming it. His character is a drug-addicted transgender man, so since he is a method actor, he lost lots of weight to look the part. The movie is called Dallas Buyer's Club, and it should be coming out anytime now! :)
