How that come if they hate foreigners. And natives are not able to help their own citizens. Pereira from Brazil

Haiti destroyed by its own people. Dessaline was the first to destroy this country. Take a look at Dominican Republic what a huge difference. Francisco Pereira from Brazil

I have lived in Dominican Republic since late 2009 until now 2017, and I have lots of Haitian friends here in D. R. I am very interested in Haiti from many points of view, and hope to visit Cap Haitien in the near future, as perhaps I might eventually return Stateside to live, but before I do that, I definitely want to get a feel about a Haiti, learn some Kreyol hopefully and get a good glimpse of the country, as I am fascinated by the history and culture of Haiti.

As I watched this I find myself in awe of how beautiful these people are. It is flat out sad that they have to live like is shown in this video clip. Nobody should have to live in such filthy conditions, such dangerous areas. They keep their homes spotless like any other proud people would do, even though conditions are less than favorable. I am going to visit Haiti for a vacation soon, I would love to go their as part of an engineering project to help these wonderful human beings out. A large magnitude quake is tough for advanced cities to handle, let alone antiquated structures. My best friend graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnics in NY, with a degree in Rocket Propulsion engineering. I know their engineering department worked on temporary shelter for the Haitian people, after the quake. They used shipping containers to create these cool modules that people could live in short - medium term while the rebuilding took place. It appears that either because of corruption or lack of resources, the rebuilding is not moving as quickly as it should be.

Where in the process is this project, as of 1/24/2016? That video was done 5 years ago. I'm really anxious to find out. If anyone can point me to updates on this project, I would be very grateful. Thanks.

Pleeeez! I don't know what you said . Learn to write what makes sense, learn to spell. Whatever you wrote was just a waste of words. You can write it in creole or french ,we will understand that too.

C'est une zone qui doit etre rebatti. de loin on doit voir des batisses et des lumieres non pas de plantes et des petites maisons mal baties.
