Patrícia Morison played Anna with Brynner on Broadway affer Gertrude Laurence death in 1952 and if you see their performance i rhe 1971 tv performance you will see their chemistry together I love Constance Towers too.But I dont think that Deborah Kerr was better than Towers and Morison. Maureen O Hara was first cast for the role in the movie because she was an excellent singer and wouldnt have been dubbed as Deborah Kerr was. Towers played Anna with Brynner in.1977 because there were billing problems with Julie Andrews .Later Angela Lansbury played Anna in Brynner and Towers vacância with Michael Karmoyan só Brynner didnt play the role with her

I love the comments "he always seemed like such a nice person," and he still was. So he dropped the F bomb a few times, said GD, taught people the word "Ponderous," and? Doesn't make him a bad person. Imagine being a caring person (he was a big animal lover), and every week, the engineers, production managers, the rest have you play happy go lucky songs about sappy love, heartache, other silly things that much of pop music can be (not knocking it, but let's be real here), and then theres a dedication for a sad aong about death of a pet, child, spouse, family member, a divorce, what have you. It seems inconsiderate, unsympathetic, lacks showing any empathy, and would make a person who has a deep sense of feelings for those moments in life feel ungenial, shallow, and makes the situations the people are/were in feel as 2nd class. He got tired of it, I'd imagine, and lost his shit. We all do it, and we can't say we don't. Maybe not out loud or in public, but we do. He was still a good person. He just felt that they weren't taking the peoblems people were having seriously or caring about them at all. Sometimes, the best way to get your point across is with a string of obscenities. RIP Casey. And Snuggles, too! I'm sure Casey found you and gave you pets and head scratches in the afterlife.
