43082 doesn't sound very healthy. I say they replace the engine with an MTU TB11 from a DB BR 218 to make it sound more like a Valenta.

If Western Champion is going to haul rail tours on the main line again I'll be there. I remember travelling behind her from Paddington to Newquay years ago. When we got there I managed to speak with our driver and thank him. He was, Adrian Davies, the driver seen in The Day On The Clay video.
