This was a childhood favorite. My younger brother and I would watch it every year growing up. He passed away this past July in his sleep at only 43. This will be our first Christmas without him. No sprinkling of pixie dust or any amount of Christmas magic can bring him back. And yet, that is the one thing I would ask Ole St. Nick for. Hug your loved ones tight and tell them you love them. And tell them often. Rest in sweet eternal peace my Brother, someday we'll all have Christmas together again. 💝🎄🙏

0:00 It’s clear with research that these aren’t the original titles and instead is a recreation. This was the first cartoon in the series that uses RCA Photophone Sound System rather than Pat Power’s Cinephone Sound System (which it incorrectly credits here as it should say “Recorded in R.C.A. System” on the bottom left). I’m certain the opening is like “Birds In The Spring” here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/mZS1eWOGaaeGebcfeature=shared I could be wrong though. Or is it? Also, I should mention that on the first day of 2028, this cartoon enters the public domain. Its sequel “The Night Before Christmas” enter it too a year later.

This has to be the most wholesome version of Santa Clause I've ever seen, his laugh is so iconic! 😂 Also Disney and Silly Simphony delivered with the music in this short! ❤ Although it's a fantastic short film the moon at the end creeps me out 😅

I remember this...when I was like 7...I had a CD with this short and so many other Christmas movies, I love Christmas...that must be why I love Christmas so much I have no bad memories related to Christmas, my favorite time of year, it's almost November...I can't wait
