I'm with you on that one. When I was a teenager my family and I lost everything to an house fire so I know by experience how it feels to lose everything you cherish.

@AprilTurner-o8e ...I am so sorry that you & your family had to experience & had to deal with such a loss. It's worse than starting off from scratch. That feeling of loss & trying to get one's footing to be able to rebuild, if possible, is overwhelming...not just financially but physically, emotionally, mentally & spiritually. When I was a kid, my friend's house burned down. They all survived but lost everything. My parents let my friend & her family live with us for a while till they could deal with the aftermath. My friend, her little brother & little sister stayed with my family for about 8 months. Their parents & their little brother, who was an infant at the time, moved in with my friends grandparents, who lived on the next block. We support each other then & we still do to this day. My friend says she remembers that day like it just happened. I'm sorry for ranting, but I am glad you survived & I hope your family did as well 🙏🤞🙏

@@jeroenwarner4834 Brazil is not a dictatorship now, many songs were banned previously in times of dictatorship. There are some bans under the current democratic government, as is the case everywhere, the label dictatorship does not need to be applied, certain laws or religious sensitivities come into play.

@@davidhowse884 the video was about the '60s when, as far as I know, music and even instruments (charanga in Bolivia) were banned. In Brazil under the dictatorship of 1964-85 certain ( samba)music was censored under the instotutional Act no. 5, for example making samba composers change lyrics.

One of my favourite pieces of music is known as "lambada", although Bolivian in origin, it became famous from a French group and Brazilian vocalist. I expect that would have been banned if it had come out in the 60s.
