newer bmws come with the ecu locked from factory to prevent tuning, unlocked means it was shipped to finland or somewhere else in Europe to get the ecu unlocked

i guess he means the speedlimit of 250km/h or 155mph is removed so it can go faster than that restriction. Its a german thing, the manufacturer limit it at 155mph and you can unlock it to go vmax.

Not really true.I mean I’m sure there’s been an instance or two where bolts being loose was due to unnecessary strain on the bolt/ nut. However for the example of putting something like a lift on a vehicle you’re supposed to retorque all your bolts and nuts after a certain amount of kms. Very possible that front end parts were replaced and not torqued to spec or just not retorqued and loosened over time.
