Can you create a "Dapr in Action" playlist on CSharp TV's YT channel?

Yes to the Shopify/Etsy point! My husband sells artworks and props over Etsy and I'm a software architect. I cant count the people who asked why I'm not simply writing my own and save Etsy's fees. Thing is: 1) I make way more in a few hours at my company than Etsy charges us in fees for the whole month. 2) Etsy handles all the marketing, google ads, etc. 80% of people ordering on Etsy would have never found our website. 3) I don't want to handle any more personal data than absolutely necessary. Certainly not payment data. Using other services then incurs costs which would in total be, again, more than Etsy charges. Etsy can do all of this cost-effectively because of their scale. No single shop could.

It shouldn't be that difficult to add a custom font to a web dev tool :(

I don't have a single fuck to give about dependency metrics. That is like measuring productivity via lines of code written. It does a really bad job at measuring coupling. If the only thing available, it can be used, i guess, with a fist full of salt. Point is, I can build a project with perfect scores yet nobody, including myself, will be able to maintain it. Ask me how I know. There is a much better, more holistic way with a direct relationship to qualities that managers already track.

I've had the opportunity to participate in many national-level hackathons, but the experience at HackIndia 2024 is one I'll remember for a lifetime. Grateful for the valuable connections and unforgettable moments. Huge thanks to HackIndia, CSharp, and all the sponsors for making this possible-and a special shoutout to @Stephon Simon, who left a lasting impact on everyone. ❤

Did you put your code on github? I know this is a very old video but it is still relevant for new users. I did not find a link anywhere but thought I better ask here. It could be that github was not developed properly at that time - 10 years ago - so not many people were using it. Best regards.

Code review is useless 99% of the time. The code review process makes reviewers feel obligated to request feedback. Unless you broke something or there's something truly insane in a PR I just approve and get back to work.

"Thank you so much for featuring Team Genesis in this interview! We're incredibly grateful for the opportunity to showcase our project, Unipe, and share our journey at HackIndia 2024. Securing 3rd rank was a significant milestone for us, and it wouldn't have been possible without the support of everyone involved in the hackathon. A big shout-out to our amazing teammates, mentors, and organizers for making this experience so memorable."

In the 5 line vs 10k line example, normally a 10k line PR will be something like a formatting change where there is a consistent change being made to many files. Rarely is it a logic change which need more of a strict review, and if it was thats probably a bad sign lol
