Hello How can I removed the monitor code of the protec fire alarm 6400 series panel?

+joseph h Most Protec systems allow the sounder tone and volume to be configured from the fire alarm control panel. All Protec sounders produce frequencies within the 500Hz to 1,000Hz range and the tone options include warble, pulse and continuous tones. All these tone options, including continuous, are compliant with the relevant British and European Standards. We additionally provide voice sounders which incorporate a digitally recorded speech message, to further enhance the fire alarm signal. For larger systems such as the systems we successfully provided for the London Olympic Stadium and Aquatics Centre we provide a full fire detection and voice evacuation and public address system. Our products are designed and manufactured in the UK to comply with the relevant British and European standards.

+protecfiredetection Hi this is good but when a continuous alarm by Protec sounded in newly renovated store no one had a clue what it was but in a shopping center when a Hosiden Besson banshee started to sound on fast sweep with no announcement every one made there way for the exits almost immediately this was a Thorn security Minerva system 16E and wired in Pyrotenax cable but protec systems i have seen in commercial buildings use metal conduit, this facilitates the spread of fire to other rooms, how is this justified.

In the video plastic cables ties are being used when the cable is looped however this is only a temporary measure whilst the ceilings are being installed. Once the detector has been positioned in its final location on the ceiling tiles the cables above would be secured to the associated drop rod using metal cable ties. We hope this answers your query.
