I think its fair to say the whole situation with "feeling" Morty as a character is the usual case for most Morty players. To play Morty is to play optimally, because his skillset really only allows winning if you use ALL of it. It feels addicting to progress as Morty. My Morty is level 14 yet regardless of hours and practice, a good Morty can really only be defined by themselves and teammates. Sadly Morty is placed in a game that rewards reading and heavy/hitstun attacks more heavily than educated gameplay. Not that it effects winning and losing with Morty as a character, but it does make some people chose to not learn Morty. They have much more effective options for zoning, rushing, tanking, so why bother? Even Morty players left Morty, as he is truly only a shell of what he used to be in the beta. Morty isn't balanced to an extent, but neither is literally any other cast in this game. The competitive nature of Multiversus has so much favorable options that it naturally leaves Morty in the dust. Yet I could never stress enough that learning Morty will always be the most fun adventure in this game and I wouldn't be scared to truly reach 1000 hours into one character. There is no good or bad Morty players, only Morty PLAYERS. Ones who try, and ones who learn. It's entirely possible that you can lose as the best or worst Morty, and in that case its better to judge whether or not you are a good, or even (mentally) the best Morty, by sticking to him. Hopefully once Multiversus packs all their shit into a backpack, there will be new life to the fundimentals of learning Morty, against Learning other characters. No fighting game should be as heavily weighted on "top tiers" while downplaying "bottom tiers" as characters that take more time, action, and thought to preform even relatively well as a top tier. Take one look at the effort it takes for characters to preform combos that struggle to kill, versus characters that have multiple kill confirms, zero to deaths, combos into themselves, and button mashing. Now chose which one you rather spend the rest of eternity playing. 😇

I love how in depth this comment goes. I also love how you stress the fact that we will play for eternity so decide which character is worth that time 😂 While I do agree with it for the most part, I do believe there is good Morty’s and bad Morty’s. While you can pick a character like Wonder Woman and use half your brain compared to Morty (or banana guard which if you play him I assume you are still in elementary school) when you pick these characters there’s a good chance you are new to the game or new to the fighting genre and will provide you a much more satisfying experience to play as a character that is more simple then a character like Morty. But the stuff I have seen you can do with Morty even tho it takes his whole kit compared to others that it only take 2 moves lol the combos you can do is super impressive and I would define as a “good Morty” This game is broken with its characters power scale but I am a hard believer that for the most part you can beat any character with any character as long as *you* the player can pick up on patterns your oponent has (even if that pattern includes using the most broken shit in the game lol) that being said they need to fix this game cause I agree with you, Morty is an impressive character but no too good 😢

@lolTenji i agree with that. I do think good and bad players will always exist, regardless of character chosen. I can try my hardest to argue that morty has an amazing kit that does help him compete against braindead top tiers, however those only come in learning the character himself. I think that's a huge part of the fun of learning him - being able to profit off of opponents who down play you for being "just another morty." I think morty is such a great competitive experience in this game, even if its CLEAR the game doesn't want to focus on technicalities in characters. They just want people to drop in, and have fun and I respect that. I just wish character usage, unlocking, and progression was more centered around trying new things then just grinding fighter currency to play a top tier. I feel like morty can have an amazing future in the growth of the game, and I'm hopeful to see it. (Also add evil morty voicelines - like cmon they are already in the files 😂).

@@NoPunKakesGivenagreed 💯 Voice lines are also really important in this game and I hope they expand them especially with Rick and Morty because I would assume it’s easier to get the voice actors who are new like them then to get the bigger names to voice new lines. I know literally, bugs and Wonder Woman are taking over the game right now lol I am honestly loving it. Don’t get me wrong… there’s is a shit ton of problems and I don’t get why they removed so much stuff that was in the beta (example off my head being the knockout tracker and the end of the match, or how you can change characters when you rematch) but I just missed the game so much and to have new characters is a blast. So I will be grinding it lol
