@@thecavemanknivesreview.8097 I’ll tell you if I was able to earn like I used to 100% I would get one . I have ms now so I’m on a fixed budget . All the knives I have now are kinda of it for now . If I get some extra scratch I’m in . I also like the smaller belt knives you make they are pretty awesome too. If I hear about someone wanting a bomb proof survival knife I will direct them towards you for sure though.

I recently purchased a Tops D-Fly 4.5. I think you might like that knife , you should check it out. It's nothing close to the quality of your collection, BUT it's a really good design. I changed the edge a bit and dropped the nose down, just a hair, and I dig it. I also have their Tanimboca Puukko, which I made into a full zero degree scandivex, its now my main EDC . It just freaking works so good that I have stopped rotating knives . For me its really not about buying that $300+ knife although its definitely a dream to achieve. I prefer taking lower cost blades and getting full potential out of them . Modding your blades is really fun especially building from blanks.

I’m surprised that you didn’t mention the Boker Tracker designed by Dave Wenger, they come in 3 sizes, Micro, Mini and regular. They’re really nice and worth the money. Hey your English is fine, I can understand you perfectly. You sure are lucky to have a beautiful collection of Trackers. I’m new to the design and have recently started testing it. I’m broke so the Boker Tracker is going to be my choice!

@MrRugercat452 ай бұрын
This is a heat treatment issue folks, first of all these aren’t designed for throwing. That’s the most important thing, it’s hardened the same all the way through the knife. If you’re determined to use the knife hard then at least take off the handle scales, which is pretty difficult, put the blade part in a can of water and heat the tang to a dull red and let it cool SLOWLY. Don’t get the blade edge hot, if you’re really careful you can put the edge down in a pan of water and heat the back to dull red and also let it cool slowly, heat the point a bit too, to a purplish brown. This will help prevent breaking. I’m not going to throw mine so I will just heat the tang and maybe the back carefully. Remember if your edge gets heated up past blue you’ve softened it past the point of it being a good cutting instrument. If you’re wanting to clean it off, sand off the coating and put it in boiling vinegar a few times for an hour or so and it will help prevent corrosion and look good. Personally I’d just use a throwing knife for throwing.

is this your take on the tracker im impressed the handle looks great and the solid blade design works great and it beaver through with ease still can't stand a saw on a blade and sheath is nice to yeah man i would rock that thing in the field it looks like great fine task work knife as well nice all in one tool

@andrewhondo4 ай бұрын
im not a fan of the tracker in my own opinion the dual blade system is hard to sharpen and the saw on any blade is useless and gets in the way for battoning and would mushroom down on the saw the saw on any knife couldn't cut for crud only use for it would be for notching i have a wayland and its hard to grip and hang on to it chopping there nice to look at but i always use my bolo tramontina when i go into the woods or my hatchet i respect your opinion and great video i just don't like the way they feel
@thecavemanknivesreview.80974 ай бұрын
I appreciate the deep thought and opinions. They sure have people who love them and people who hate them at the same time. I design a blade of which I have a review too. Where I eliminate the dual grind but I keep the saw. Is design to replace a hatchet and to serve well as a draw knife. Check it out if you have a chance and let me know what you think of. Thanks again for the opinion and support.

Excellent Selection, you have a first class collection! Perfect choices! 👍👍I ordered a Milanika two weeks ago, 10 months of waiting now! ha! You should do a video on just your sheaths, you have some very nice, high quality sheaths there! Beautiful! Also, you have your priorities in the right place, your HANDLES! The handle is the secret for a good knife, if you do not have a good handle, the knife is not useful, you must have comfort and control!
