Thanks, Ella. I will skip the big palette as it is quite close (in my opinion) to the Age of Opulence palette they launched about three years ago. I’m going to focus on it this year for the holidays. The smaller palette is interesting. Might try to watch and see if it is still available during a sale. Unfortunately, I have to pay import fees in Canada so I’ve held off any making additional purchases as a result. But this gorgeous little 9-pan might get me!

honestly I think it could be turned into a series, especially for days when you have no ideas what to film. to make it even more interesting, maybe for one video do a comparison of your take on the makeup based on the description vs what the AI has generated and then recreate it. :)

I found your channel looking for looks using the palette and really liked this video and the looks you created despite having a different opinion. Admittedly, I’m not an eyeshadow person (I literally own only 1 other eyeshadow palette that is a neutral (brown/gold quad) so the fact that the shades are toned down and not as blingy as the other Lightwork palettes actually made this more approachable and more beginner friendly for me. I love that there are so many dark jewel-toned shimmers in this palette too as I actually find them hard to find (all in one palette) as someone with darker skin. Funnily enough the eggplant purple shimmer is my favourite shade in the whole palette as an all-over (one and done) lid shade. The worst colour for me was the dark blue satin shade. It stains everything and the colour payoff isn’t great with the colour being lighter than it looks in the pan on the skin. Definitely considering switching it out with a shimmery sapphire blue if I’m able to find one I like. The standout thing about this palette that made me buy it was definitely the packaging as I love having the options to customize that it provides. Definitely hope it becomes the standard.

I must agree with the Lisa Eldridge holiday release. Her regular lipstick cases are more vintage looking than this reusable lipstick. The ridges on vintage lipsticks are usually sleek feminine straight lines engraved and a shiny chrome gold or silver finish not bubbled out in a matte finish. Maybe that was an attempt to modernize a vintage look but it doesn't look particularly vintage and even her full name on the band is a bit annoying for that premium price point. For having to guess and take chances ordering online (not in person shops or in Sephora) seems like prices are too high for what it is. A rare miss. If you commit to the rhinestone Gucci lashes I hope you share your opinions here 🤞

I feel that green is also misplaced. I dunno, it's a very yellow-ish green and doesn't seem to belong in this color story...IMO. Maybe if it was more of a blueish green? I dunno. I don't have any Nomad palettes but I know I won't be picking up this one.

So, Hudson Valley has long been my favorite Nomad Palette. I love their mattes so so much, but not always their shimmers. Hudson Valley has only 3 shimmers and that suited me just fine!!! But then I got Chicago Speakeasy. OMG. I love it SO SO MUCH! I love every shade in it, including the shimmers! In fact I love the shimmers. Greens and purples are my favorite two eyeshadow colors to wear. I also love warm browns/reds/orange. THAT IS THIS PALETTE!! 💕💕💕💕 If I had made a palette it would be this. On top of that, I keep using that light green matte on my inner corner in every look I do-even with other palettes. It was the shade of green I never knew I needed but has made my makeup life complete. I was not SHOCKED to hear how much you dislike it. It is a VERY in your face green.😂 I loved your look number one so much. Your look number 2 was also beautiful to me!

I love LE, but I agree with you. The new lipstick is just too expensive for me. Plus she has discontinued most of the shades I liked… the lighter / brighter ones, which suited me best. There are a lot of warm nude shades in the range instead now. The PT duos look great… but again, the price point is just a bit too far out of my budget.

I didn’t even consider this because I also felt burnt by the two matte palettes which I did purchase and was so underwhelmed by it. The looks you came up with are so pretty makes me want this.

I thought I was the only one that thought that package design on the Lisa lipstick is ugly. Looks like a peanut 🥜 or a fancy tampon case. Love how I can say that here and not have my comment deleted 😂Also how they explain that the formula expires fast because they expect you to use it up super fast is nuts. I like Lisa but I don’t agree that her stuff is so innovative. Those liquid silk eyeshadows were done by Butter London years ago. Her eyeshadow formula is overhyped. Her eyeliners copied off of Victoria Beckham. As far as that Presidential palette being a waste. I’m digging it and it sends a message. I wish they put an orange one 😂

I don't think it makes any sense for an Asian brand to get by looking good or w pretty packaging. Quality is expected and I'd say Asian customers are rather more critical when it comes to their make up and skincare. If you do extravagant packaging your quality has to match
