Are you running the CAM software for the Z73? I didn't know this until recently, I learned if you are not running the software the pump on the AIO won't really get going and you sacrifice a lot of cooling performance. I prefer air cooling but have this Z73 and think I might do the same. Swapping out an old 10600k for a 7800 X3D. Just thought I'd ask about running CAM because I didn't realize this. CAM is a pain in the ass at times and crashes on me constantly though.

As I’m writing this I’m changing my current set up going from a Corsair 5000d using 10 Lian li sl120 and a kraken z73 to a Fractual torrent stock RGB fans ( I know boo me but I still like some light in my pc ) and a noctua nah-d15 chroma max black edition. Also another thing that most if anyone talks about, less cable manage.

Do you happen to have info on the rpm of the fans when it's under load? I was hoping to see it in the GPU-z section of your benchmark but it says 0RPM for the 4080

Hah. I got TWO 5900x systems. One with the noctua, and one with an AIO. The AIO wins on performance, but within 2 years, I can hear it gurgling and the AIO needs replaced. The other one is 2% slower and will never need maintenance. =) So I just lowered the TDC and life is a dream.

Idk about yall but i did the exact same exchange except i did put a fan in the front (top of ram) and my cpu is about 7-10 degrees cooler. Enthoo evolv X atx case

This is what my definition of being creative means. Doing great thinks with less. Yes you can use After Effects or Davinci Resolve but making simple OBS stinger can be done in tools like Keynote. Thanks for sharing! Good luck streaming and using OBS.

I would not touch another amd card for a while. It isn’t that the cards are bad but the drivers are terrible for it. I had a 6900 xt which continued to crash in games such as fortnite. It would also crash while in windows desktop. This is along with doing a DDU in safe mode with no networking and installing new drivers and different drivers etc. After returning it and getting a RTX 3090 I had zero crashes on my games and windows.

Huge upgrade! I'm hoping for 78XX to give a good bang for buck upgrade @ 1440p. If you also get 7900 let us know the experience and if it is ok to jump ship.

I need to test my 6700xt a bit more when I have time. Great video. You may want to check the game settings and see if ray tracing is enabled. I'm surprised mw2 isn't running like 100% faster. May want to check your GPU usage while playing warzone see if you have a CPU bottleneck.

Eposvox has this pre-determined idea of how an EQ should work. He refuses to EQ outside these norms or bashes anything as not any good that falls outside this norm. The Beacn Mic is a great microphone. It does thrive when EQ'ed correctly. Sure, it doesn't have the same pattern as a Shure SM7B and it's not intended to have the same unproccessed pattern. However, the software is worth the price of admission here and if you are not bone-headed and fixated on I CAN"T RAISE THE BASS EQ ABOVE 1DB, etc etc, you can EQ this mic to sound as good or better than anything out there.

NVIDIA put the nail in the coffin for me when they drove off EVGA, almost every card I've had for a long time has been EVGA and they always had great quality. I have a 6700XT and it is already doing a great job so I think you will be happy with your new card.

I just got a new 7700X cyberpowerpc , that I chose all the parts for, I LOVE IT, blows away my 7th gen 7700K and I didn't want to get 12th or 13th gen intel on a dead socket after that. With new AM5 , I can drop in new cpu in the future like a 7800x3d. I am going amd video card, nvidia lost me as a customer after high prices, and AIB parterner debacle. I loved EVGA and now they are no longer making cards, I will be buying amd from now on.

AMD video encoder is much better even in rx6000 series, idk exact performance numbers but it's at least better than previous GPUs. You don't need to worry about streaming on any RX6000 gpu.

I was on nvidia for a longg time, 12 years straight after switching from ati cards, and finally decided to give team red a go again when I went from a 1080ti to 6800xt. The 20-series was clearly not worth it for me, then what really rubbed me the wrong way was when they dropped the 3080 with less vram than my 4 year old card. The 6800xt just seemed like a way smarter buy and I don't regret that decision at all.. I love their adrenaline software, drivers have never been an issue for me, and like you I really don't care about ray tracing. Funny thing now is tables have turned, particularly with mw2 dropping where my friends with nvidia cards have had nothing but stutters and lackluster performance overall, having to rollback drivers and whatnot. I knew based on the frames my friend was telling me he was getting with his 3080 there was a huge difference, then I saw the hardware unboxed vid that shows the 6800xt performing like a 3090ti at 1440p in averages and 3080ti in lows lol. Sure enough that extra vram did end up being worth it. With high textures mw2 eats nearly 13gb vram on my 6800xt. The 10gb and 12gb 3080s could still run high textures, but will need to purge the cache way more often which could play into those stutters people are seeing.
