Thank you for sharing your advice. I handled a situation so badly with a friend that lost her daughter. It’s been years now and I regret it so much.

Thank you! Finally a video showing what the compressor is supposed to sound like. My Yukon is making the before noise but all the repair videos I've seen just end after it's replaced and don't show what it's supposed to sound like after.

Lori I have been watching you & Quintin for a long time now on every social media & you both have been very inspiring in all aspects. He is a wonderful loving,caring man that loves you & was never ashamed to show it. I believe he & Jesus ate watching over you & your kids all the time🙏🏼But today having experienced a devastating unexpected loss of my youngest son from a simple common surgery💔😥what I am here for is to give you & your family my heartfelt condolences on the sudden loss of Q😢💔 you have been such an inspiration to me as I watch your videos & how though you grief you still push forward. I wish I had your stamina you are a warrior & I always like your videos but never had the courage to comment in public♥️Grief is the hardest to go through and it comes in waves. I to had to be strong for my other children as well. I think God I did have my husband to grieve with, I also lost my a lot of my family & friends because of the exact reason you said & that hurts because that's when you need them the most, but I just want you to know you are strong. You are beautiful and you are doing a wonderful job and it is OK not to always be OK. xoxo ♥️

Advice I got a long time ago about praying. Start talking to God even if u think u r just talking to the walls in your home. Say to yourself if u seek me you will find me when you search for me with all of your heart child like faith. Don’t rely on how you feel or how u think just start talking out loud and ask God to show himself to you when you don’t know how.

I lost my son 12 years ago and I relate to everything you shared. True, there are no words that can change what has happened but what has helped me in the beginning especially, is knowing people cared about my pain, the ones who knew they couldn't fix it ~ they were just there letting me know they were praying. Only Jesus can say all the right things to us and HE DOES! He is our comfort one day at a time.

Such excellent advice. My daughter was diagnosed with brain cancer 7 years ago. At very first a few people showed up, as things got worse, as my daughter became sicker and sicker people stopped showing up. We felt completely alone, it is an awful place to be. We didn’t need words I needed a hug, a cup of coffee, anything.

I don't know you, but oh my gosh!! This post hit me so hard and was exactly what I needed today! This is so applicable to so many different trials, heartbreaks, etc. You are an amazing woman of strength and have been through so much, but you continue to push through and help others around you!❤

I totally agree. When my husband passed away 9 yrs ago there were some friends who stayed away I believe bc they thought it could be them. They are afraid of the situation and therefore stay away. Especially if it was couples. The ones that came by to just sit and be there are the true friends. And you’re right I too used to be there. Let’s not wait until it happens to us to be there for a grieving friend or family member. Just hold their hand, it’s all I needed.

Dear sweet sister in Jesus Christ. The rapture is imminent. You will see your love again soon. Until that happens my prayers go with you. I understand the pain of loss. I have lost several members in my family in the past 7 years. Hold on to the blessed hope. You will see him again. That is what has pulled me through.

I know many are praying for you, and you have touched many hearts. I love this quote from Patrick Overton, "When you come to the edge of all the light you have, and must take a step into the darkness of the unknown, believe that one of two things will happen. Either there will be something solid for you to stand on- or you will be taught how to fly." Someone wrote that in a card when our 17 year old son was battling cancer. He is now about to turn 48. We all will continue to wrap you in prayer.

I don’t think they’re afraid of you. I think they’re afraid of what to say or how to act. Here’s an idea… why not call one of these friends and just say, I miss you and I’d love to see you!
@ronswife94Күн бұрын
Any friend would be honored to get that call from you! We don’t want to intrude on your grief. That sounds crazy, but sometimes we need a push because we don’t know what to say. ❤
