I feel like my whole life has been a dark night. It is never ending and a total waste of life. I always wanted to have a normal life that everyone has but no I have been alone my whole life. This is exactly my experience right now. I am ABD on a PhD that I chose not to complete for some reasons that are alluded to here. I am in a dark night of the soul squared. I am not going to provide any more details right now because it does not matter. I have to and need to assume that all of this suffering has purpose and meaning. I am usually a leader and teacher in the human experience. I am 60 and used to teach Academic Writing and English Literature at a major American university. I am considered an authority on "the novel" as an art form. I can't find my Ass with both hands right now. I am going to choose to see this positively? Yep, that. Thank you. 💚
