3:09:00 Shine's choice to put a spore in front of outlying bases is inspired. TvP depends heavily on keeping vessels alive to trade efficiently and mitigate defilers. Just one spore seems to do a lot of chip damage over time so the vessels take only one scourge to kill, or maybe 1 scourge plus a few muta glaives. As a bonus it helps constrain where drops can come in and adds a bit of interference for when the marines try to run in.
