Never got an answer to this question so just bought the blacks😂 A bit disappointing you guys don’t answer customer questions

@@sublimegolf26 As far as I know the black is just that, a finish. From what I have seen the black finish does wear quite quickly and unevenly. You cant go wrong with either but I personally would go with the polished/standard finish but each to ones own. They are quite forgiving but calling a 40 degree loft a pitching wedge is egregious. People wonder why they are hitting GI irons 2 clubs farther, that is the reason. My current set as traditional lofts with the PW coming in at 49 degrees and 7i at 34 degrees. Epon/Endo does make EXCELLENT forgings though, some of the best on the market. If one can track down a set of the old Nike VRS Forged or SQ Machspeed irons (Japan Model) they were forged by ENDO and feel much better than the standard USA version of the same irons.
