Why bother mentioning her pronunciation. When majority, I have yet to meet a Finnish person, esp a Finnish teacher who can explain thoroughly like this. My own Finnish husband has no clue about this grammar rules. Lol he has never heard of the different very types and said there’s no need to learn grammar! And my Finnish professor who said just memorize it.

remove the final two letters of the verb double the last consonant of the stem add -ut/-yt/-eet Verbs ending in -lla/-llä (e.g. opiskella, ommella, kävellä) Remove -la/lä and add -lut/-lyt/-leet opiskel-la → opiskel- → opiskellut / opiskelleet Verbs ending in -nna/nnä (e.g. mennä, panna) Remove -na/nä and add -nut/-nyt/-neet men-nä → men- → mennyt / menneet Verbs ending in -rra/rrä (e.g. surra, purra) Remove -ra/rä and add -rut/-ryt/-reet pur-ra → pur- → purrut / purreet Verbs ending in -sta/stä (e.g. nousta, pestä, julkaista) Remove -ta/tä and add -sut/-syt/-seet nous-ta → nous- → noussut / nousseet
