How does this make sense? Why would folding allow it to dry faster? Wouldn't the water in between the folds have nowhere to escape when it evaporates?

Where does the wiring run?
@bathroombutler-bb Жыл бұрын
The heated towel rack can either be hard wired where the wiring is hidden in the wall or it can be connected to a visible electrical outlet with an optional plug-in kit

For such basic thing as a towel heated, why do you have to make it so complicated to program with so many steps...on and off switch will do .no one has time for this Idiotic steps.

Need very thin towels for this!

Yeah I'm sceptical too
@bathroombutler-bb Жыл бұрын
We know this goes against all instinct to fold the towel but it is the best way to ensure your towels are dried thoroughly. If your towels are very thin then you might even need to place another towel over it to ensure it dries. Trapping the heat under the towel is the key, if the towel is too thin then the heat will simply escape through the think layer quickly and not dry the towel.

Or you can do what I do I ring out my washcloths use it to get all the water off of my body before I use my towel then my towel never gets wet also by doing this it takes loose dead skin off of my body a now Towel Rails cant do that. Another thing if you smell mold and mildew in your towels you are keeping it out too long you need to change with a fresh one. Don't waste your money on this.
@bathroombutler-bb3 жыл бұрын
Hi Nun, thank you for your comment. The smell of mold and mildew on your towel comes from the germs and bacteria that are growing on it, this is where a heated towel rail become very useful, as the heat reduces bacteria build-up by up to 90% Check out this video. kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y5TFk6hpmsqcock

The temp control is to course, you dont have a computer monitor showing the level of heat like in this video. There should be a number from like 1 to 10, or a led level indicator show Cool or Hot
@bathroombutler-bb3 жыл бұрын
Hi, thank you for your comment, the heat level is indicated by red flashing light. A quick flashing light indicates the current power/temperature setting is at the lowest setting. A solid light indicates, the temperature is at the maximum setting. You can learn more here www.bathroombutler.com/za/product-category/heated-towel-rails/ptselect/

Does heat the room better than a panel
@bathroombutler-bb3 жыл бұрын
Our heated towel rails are not designed to heat the bathroom. There is one major difference between a bathroom radiator from Europe and a heated towel rail. It is the amount of electricity they use. The average heated towel rail is around 60 - 180 Watts, whereas a bathroom radiator would be 500 - 800 Watts. So, while a European radiator will be able to warm a bathroom, a heated towel rail with the fractional power consumption is only designed to dry your towel.

Must be a wemo paid review. If you really have any of the switch's or plugs you would know they are one of the worst on the market for connectivity. I have 18 of them and I am so sorry I bought them. Read the reviews on the wemo app (wish I would have) and you will see what I mean.

The way the diagram folds the towel is not the way the host folds the towel when placing it on the rail???
@bathroombutler-bb3 жыл бұрын
Hi Brad, thank you for reaching out, there are different ways to fold the towel on the heated towel rail, the main point is that the towel should be folded and not draped open. Folding the towel traps the heat allowing your towel to dry more efficiently.
