I have wonderful memories of going to Sunday School at the Salvation Army. There’s something very special about this piece and I listen to it when I can’t sleep. So comforting 💖

This seems to be such a charming city, I hope I can visit sometime in the future when all this is over. Seeing and sharing places like this is why I love traveling and make videos so much!

Thanks for sharing the words to the songs. Where can we find the song lyrics 'Oh how good to trust my Heavenly Father', used with the opening tune 'Trust in God'?

Barbara Steadman-Allen helped me confirm that these were the right words . They are from a Salvation Army songster song found in Lyricist: Lena Sandell Composer: Oscar Ahnfelt Series: The Musical Salvationist Issue: 1948-01 (January) which can be obtained from samusicindex.com/vocal/trust-in-god/8196 Hope that helps

@@bryanstone6 Thanks for your attention to details. Other videos show a well-known song from The Salvation Army’s song book. Although the message remains the same with those words, it is fitting that we reflect on the tune ‘Trust in God’ in like manner as the composer.

Je suis désolé qu'il ait fallu si longtemps pour répondre. je viens de voir votre question. L'hymne s'appelle 'As The Deer'. Si vous m'envoyez un e-mail, je vous enverrai la musique. [email protected]

Not the the drummers fault but thats the worst sounding Bass Drum Ive ever heard on a march it sounds like a peice of birch being hit against a tree stump sorry to be critical but it dont sound nice.

It's better if the drummer can play along to the march instead of keeping the rest of the band in step. From a fellow percussionist in the Salvation Army. RCB

The salvation army needs to change its name to: The amateur music and drama club (supported by donations from the public) In light of the poor personal giving by the uniformed members - it needs donations so that they can dress up,sing, play, tambourine routines and generally seek applause. Applaud or support - I give neither!

what a fuss - at cost to the taxpayer (police escort) and for what purpose was everyone held up ? - for a performance......! What other music group would be allowed to cause such a disruption? What we allow in the 'name of religion' in this country is appalling! These musicians do nothing at all in the name of 'social service' homeless etc that the 'army' is so 'well known for' - they dress up and play as most of the uniformed members do.
