AC/DC - Big Gun Metallica - No Remorse, Master of Puppets Judas Priest - Painkiller Slayer - Behind the Crooked Cross D.R.I - Hooked The list can go on and on. Oh yeah, and what about the riffs Metallica took from Dave Mustaine? And the fact No Remorse's intro sounds like Night Crawler's pre-chorus?

It's a no-brainer in the whole music industry, especially with how there is only a limited number of available notes to play.

No shit they'd have fewer albums and performances than the largest Metal band in the world, and there are bound to be artists inspired by Metallica BECAUSE they're so big. And I'm not defending Crush 40, I just find your take to be utter crap. You should learn that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Even if Crush 40 were copying Metallica, why would most of the riffs be taken from their (arguably) worst album instead of from the Black Album or even ...And Justice For All?
