I like that the characters are quite different, very castlevania bloodlines in that respect. So far I'm of the same opinion on the game as you.

Evercade is capable of running the Castlevania games. The issue is Konami and licensing.

This was fun but I hated how I kept triggering the same text over and over. I found a couple easter eggs but not the debug room. I would really like to play a game that added a plot and objectives to this setting. And fixed the auto popup of object descriptions.

In Paradroid transfer mode, the number of nodes you can fire depends on the rank of the droid you currently control (indicated by the number on its sprite). You only have 3 at the start because you're only the 001 droid.

I remember Cyberdyne Warrior being brutal when I owned it on C64. Of course no save states made it even more frustrating. Graphics and sound effects were quite advanced for a C64 game though I thought.

I'm not sure! I'm playing as the default 1P in the Arcade version that's on Evercade. And yeah it's a good game! It's just very hard to play on 1 credit with the RNG of the item drops! xD

Hey man. I'm glad I found some real gameplay of this. I'm about to pre-order the physical and I believe the dev may give me the ROM if I show a receipt screenshot. 😊 Hopefully a manual pdf exists. Trying not to watch too much re spoilers 😂

Hey, thanks. Congrats on the pre-order! This game is fantastic! To be honest, I didn't even read the Evercade manual for this game because I didn't want to spoil anything. But now that I'm this far into the game, I should do that, thanks! And yeah, I can understand wanting to avoid spoilers. This game is definitely best experienced blind. :)

If you want to evade a fire bomb by jumping, you need to jump towards the middle, where the bomb itself is.

15:46 "I jumped over that!" - yes, but the fire was still there when you landed again. It's best to just run away when you see a bomb.

The "rockets" in some of the red boxes are like the dynamite in Duke 1. You can tell if a red box contains a bomb: If Duke walks behind it, it's a bomb, if he walks in front, it's health.

I do agree with you. This getting its own cartridge but Cathedral which is at least ten times longer sharing a cart with a game at least as long as this doesn't make a whole lot of sense. On the other hand less substantial Switch games sometimes cost more. I dunno. Glad I played it and beat it.

On sword of Ianna you need to push a direction and attack. Really the combat is all positioning and timing. Definitely the weakest aspect but it's simple enough when you get the feel for it. Overall it's a great game and far larger than I expected. Took me longer to beat than Alwas awakening.

Thanks for the kind words!I'm not sure, to be honest. I think I get lost in the shuffle between the ZFG/MajinPhil/Linkus7 and other big names. But I am often (one of) the first to adopt the newest settings and features of the randomizers, whether its OOT, MM, or the OoTMM Combo.
