You bet! Huge riverbars, vast wilderness, and thick ocean air make for some of the best flying in the kitfox!

Beautiful video. I was working for Simpson Timber Company when they were logging old growth Redwood back in the 60's and 70's. I wonder if you're the first one to ever land on that sandbar. South Fork? Camp Grant? I love the message you include with your videos. Keep doing that, please.

@stevet8121 Thanks for the comment! So cool. It is crazy how big these trees can get, and how fast too. Alot of people can't tell the difference between an old growth and 100 year second growth.. this is south fork, north of the bridge. And thank you, all Glory goes to God!

It's is the coolest job, but it an also be a love and hate relationship job,,allso a pretty dangerous and hard on the body, gotta get fit quick,and mega aware of your surroundings from the you step in and start to minute you step out, when I first started as a commercial cutter I remember the aches and pains everywhere for at least the first 3 month then everything started to ease off...now retired but still miss it....

This made me smile too. I've lived in Eureka since 1950 so it's fun to see how some of it looks from the air. TimberFox is a great name and hope to see more!

Congratulations on your first river bar landing. That appears to be the location of the old Singley fishing hole from back in the day. I caught a lot of salmon and steelhead there.
@TylerRegliАй бұрын
Thank you! I believe you are correct. It is crazy how much the river has changed though... Where I landed use to be the river, and where the river is used to be farm land.

I typically always use them. I just figured it would be good to test the saw power without them to eliminate any biases or factors that could change the outcome. Not using them makes me appreciate them alot more!

I never tire of seeing this..brings back so many great family memories for me growing up in a Logger/Faller family. Every so often when I get to missing my Father and Grandfather I come back to this video and see how you have documented that....our Son has grown up this same way with me guiding him.... hopefully maybe someday he will stumble across this and see our way of life is very special.
