Bought the remaster on PS not to long ago and the feeling playing these is just amazing! :D (prolly cause i grew up with these :p) Btw the nerdiness you emit is awesome, dressed up and everything. @JohnBanane yeah it'd been so long since I'd played TR, I really messed up with all the silly little things like saving 🤣 I finally learn my lesson in St Francis folly I think 🤣 I'm so glad you're able to share the nostalgia with me, these games were so important to me as kid, and still are now! I'm so glad to hear that you experienced the shenanigans of locking Winston in the freezer, it was an important milestone for every child 🤣 they were tricky though I totally see why!

they must've decided, in 2, to make you use all your heals cuz it's so easy to finish the first game with 40+ of each medkit. the most annoying thing is when enemies are dying they'll get in an extra shot on the way down. i think flares were the worst part of the game, they didn't really add much for me; luckily not used much in 3.

I mean if you do wear it as every day attire I will 100% need to see a video of you lined up at your local Tesco holding a meal deal lmao!!!! The content creation is going goo, we lost a session due to technical trouble which is sad but we recorded last night so we are getting there. Just waiting on the editor to well edit and we should have the first parts up soonish...its a little blue so if you are a delicate flower it may not be for you.

@TheFullGamePhantom not anymore, I used to as a teen, but as with alot of things, life just got in the way. I'm hoping to start going back to them, there is a Tomb Raider one that happens every year, and I'm really hoping to attend. You're so kind! ☺️ I mean you do, and the dedication! I liked this game back then, even though it didn't always get good reviews. The only thing I found unfortunate is that the game is far too easy. And yes, too short.

Had kinda forgotten how short 'Legend' is compared to the later TR games and how annoying the last boss is. Anyway been great to see the game again esp from an expert's perspective who really knows the game inside out, look forward to TR2 till then All The Best.

I'm not particularly interested in the game, but it's technically extremely impressive what graphics are now possible and where it's all heading. @@Amelior_ Do what you enjoy. But I would be happy in any case. I wanted to let you know that you are very good at it. And as far as graphics are concerned, they have come a long way. We have reached a point where it is slowly becoming less about the number of polygons and more about simulating light. Every surface reflects light and that has a big impact on how real something looks. Just like perspective. I also find it interesting how sound is simulated. Surprisingly, it develops more slowly. Reverb also determines how realistic something appears. Sound is underestimated anyway.

@goldenboy9192 Defo, especially the past 5 years or so! I feel like ray tracing has made it more obvious who the better developers are for graphic capabilities, it either makes the games look loads more realistic, or too bright 🤣 I completely agree, that sound is an element that is totally taken for granted! It can create so much atmosphere and totally change the feel of the game! It's a shame it didn't give much of a demo of the audio in the trailer of Unrecord.

@@Amelior_ Yeah, 3D-Sound is as big as Ray Tracing. I think polygons are not that far away from perfection. In a demo at least.. Full games are another story. But we will get there! Simulation is the most important at this point. Simulation of light, sound and physics. It's amazing how far games have come and that I get to witness it myself!

@@Amelior_ They rushed it through production and they change how the game was structured compared to the last 4 and some individuals didn’t like the game change. I enjoyed the Angle of Darkness but it was strange having Lara fall through the game world on the PS2 and I really don’t recall that there were too many gaming issues on PC but in those days it definitely looked bleak for Lara and the franchise. Now in 2024 there’s definitely no danger of Tomb Raider and Lara going away for a long time.

@@Amelior_ I didn't get the hate either tbh, I really enjoyed the game but sooo much out of it was cut up & rushed it out before it was really done. It was done to come out when the second TR movie came out. It was supposed to be a start of a trilogy but Angel of Darkness didn't do as well as the others. I wonder if we'll get a remastered for TLR, Chronicles & AOD like we got for TR 1-3. It would be cool to see how that AOD Trilogy was supposed to go. I really liked this game, only had some minor criticisms. Anniversary was my favorite of this trilogy with Legend coming close second.

@TheBraunMachine2K24 I've heard it wad seriously buggy, but I only ever had minor ones that were if anything, hilarious. It did feel half fleshed out mechanically but I loved that it stuck to the old school tank controls. How did I not realise it was supposed to be released with the film?! Makes alot of sense though now. I really hope we get a second remastered, I completely agree with you! Anniversary is a really good one, great choice! 👏

watching this before bedtime is so relaxing. I enjoy the Nepal level a lot as well! I agree with you they are all good but there's something about levels with snow that always make me happy! <3 super fun watching you play through this and I remember dying so much on my way out from this one with all the collapsing platforms good grief. the PC Port of this game was quite difficult to play and awesome job on getting the rewards btw!!

Love this one! Mainly because of the Arthurian legend stuff 😂 and as an Englishman that immediately makes it my favourite level 😂 i can honestly say i never knew you were forklift certified! And has any other game used a forklift lile that? That snake boss fight was epic! It reminds me of gizamlukes grotto in FF9 (which is also an incredible game btw) and oh my god the references in this one killed me 😂
