I bought a white 2005 Lincoln town car this last June with 194K Miles on it. I had to do some minor repairs and change the seal in the rear end pinion. Car came with new tires and receipt for rebuilt transmission and the exterior is flawless and like new with light tan leather interior. I drove it today for this first time in a month being I am retired and rarely go out to Pasadena Tx close to my Houston Tx home, feels like im floating on air and this one was converted to rear coil springs by the previous owner also. I also added the B pillar stainless steel chrome on mine and replaced 3 missing arch chrome fender pieces, so gave 2800 for it and spent around 200 dollars on it to update it in the last 5 months

My Austrian built 2006 5.7 300c had a very tough manifold to remove, I couldn’t get the brake boost hose off, so i worked around it, I left it on, removed the old gaskets with a pick tool, cleaned the old surfaces as good as I can.installed new gasket and manifold, bam, It can breath now, Before this i actually changed the alternator, EGR valve, battery, PCV valve, fuel pump, and somehow ended up with a bigger throttle body which needed a intake reduced to works well with the new intake pray

I bought a 93 with 97k miles, the engine broke the first day I drove it after the purchase, now I have an 03 with 123k miles and the transmission gave up after only a few weeks of driving it, I'm still thinking if I should get a third one or not, I really love these cars
@57LHemi3 ай бұрын
@makcuvalle9598 that sucks but on the bright side is both issue's are fixable as there are many of these engine's and transmissions in salvage yards that are good engine's just needing another car to call home...

@mwbjgamingprojects no problem man, another quick thing about these cars is eventually it will blow a spark plug, I blew my first at $282k miles. It's a common thing with and Ford modular engine, there a kit to fix it for cheap and it's a permanent fix.
@mwbjgamingprojects3 ай бұрын
@57LHemi ok, thanks for letting me know about that, I'm at 253732.0 mi right now. I will definitely buy the kit to fix it. Thank you so much and God bless you and your family. 😇

EVERYONE IS RETARDED NOWADAYS…. Hit the top one time with a rubber mallet not too much…. Than use vice grips to grab the solenoid itself and pull up and twist. 100% will come out and NOT break…. THEY ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO BREAK AND NOR ARE ABOUT TO FAIL.
