@@robjohnson1530 Oh yeah they were undefeated in finals that season. Sydney winning the Grand Final 8.10.58 to West Coast 7.12.54 when Leo Barry made the mark of the 2000s to win the game.

Buddy will be hot last player to ever kick 100 goals in a home and away season, to kick 900 goals and to kick 1000 goals. Some very wondrous and superb Grand Finals such as 2002 Lions beat Collingwood by nine points; 2005 Swans break a 72 years long football premiership drought by beating West Coast in a defensive battle by four points. 2006, the Eagles beat the Swans in the sequel. 2009, Geelong wins by the skin of their teeth beating the Saints by two goals. 2010, Magpies have a four goal lead at halftime and The Saints and Magpies draw at 6& points apiece. 2012, Sydney defeated the heavily favourited Hawthorn by ten points. 2018. Eagles beat the Magpies by five points. Cats, Bulldogs, Tigers and Demons broke their premiership droughts. Brisbane (2001-2003) and Hawthorn (2013-2015) three-peat, whereas Geelong (2007, 2009, 2011) won three in five years. Richmond won three flags (2017, 2019, 2020) in four years.

It surely wasn't an easy task to fit this all in half an hour. As an Essendon tragic, the clip of Hird exiting that presser was enough to highlight the emotion behind the darkest period of the club. Looking forward to sharing this video.
