I have spent hundreds of hours on this river. Never at this flow rate. The storm debris was also much greater than I have seen. It would be terrifying to be in the Gorge during a flood. Crazy. Great drop pools along the river. Don't tell anyone.

I was happy with my line! Landing was more flushy than I thought it would be. I heard an 11 o’clock angle is what you want so that was the goal. Cody had more of a right angle, it drove him in to the small eddy on the right. I saw some guys go a little left of my line, just a few feet, looked to have a nice boof. But I’ve also heard about the potholes over there.

@michaelcarter31493 ай бұрын
@TheChitwoodBrothersKayaking O I can imagine, fast and not much room for mistakes. I can go down fairly confidently following someone, but I do need to practice rolling. It's weird, I've gone almost two years without being in a boat and still got roll first time doing it again. I just hate practicing it lol. It's mainly just sinuses burning after awhile. Did get some salamander nose plugs to try, atleast until I can learn how to close my sinus again.
