Low IQ. Are you black? Glam metal was a scene that was NOT started by Michael Monroe. Glam metal was started as Glam punk by a band from New York called New York Dolls. People like David Bowie & Marc Bolan also influenced Glam metal. Tigertailz became Glam by their previous singer, Steevi Jaimz. The only member of Tigertailz that was influenced by Hanoi Rocks was Pepsi Tate. There are literally hundreds of Glam metal bands including WASP, D'Molls, Cherry St etc. To say that they were all influenced by Hanoi Rocks is incredibly unintelligent. Motley Crue were a band before Hanoi even got to USA or had an album in the charts

Rob sounds like high class, while Slaughter sounds like a cover band. Shame he jumped the shark before the second album.

I love this album! With Zinny it had more of a glam metal feel with their own color, but Tim took it to amazing heights!

I bought Shotgun Messiah's self-titled CD back in '89. I remember seeing him play a Yamaha electric guitar an RGX series. I found the exact guitar at my local guitar shop. It was jet black. I was 13 at the time. In the CD jewel case it came with a Shotgun Messiah Stencil. I spray painted the Stencil on my Yamaha guitar. I would take my guitar to school and practice during lunch time. No one knew who they were but I got a ton of compliments on my guitar. I thought that was cool.

Or, is it because of the way Vinnie played his guitar, that it doesn't sound like something we can learn in a matter of days unlike, say, Sweet Child o Mine?Or, even Eruption?
@davidlalremruata2 жыл бұрын
Maybe the singer's pitch does not allow us listeners to be cool about their music, huh? What do you think? Why was this song never as big as, say, Alice's Poison?
