this is such great music especially myself being a bass player

The actual recognizable tune doesn't actually start until about 5:30. He always seems to do these big digressive improvisations of the orginal piece. Some times the piece is unrecognizable.

Magnifiques arrangements pour un thème revisité à la perfection, très beau duo de cordes pincées en "mi la ré sol si mi" c'est en tout cas un "la do ré" avec un grand bravo à Cyril et Michael !! Amitié..

Mikey, tho' I'm watching my fav' tune of yours, and played beautifully, may I say that the 'Haircut' is the best I've seen in at least 3 decades! All the best from Steve Burke ... on occa' i work with your cousin Mark here in Raleigh. He is a nice man and quite talented w/ his camera and recording gear. Maybe someday, we will say .. something b4 time ends

This was recorded as a promotional track for SWR's bass amp called the Mo'Bass, hence the title of the song One Mo' Thing.

guy is a star. learned of him after i found another "star", michael hedges. i say star also cuz theyre both gods not geting enough recognition. well not that thats all that matters, but honestly check out hedges. also had no boundaries. even conquered all aeiriel boundaries.

ok that part obviously represents a strong feeling u can see it on his face. i look forward to that so much to me it displays how dark and "dour" the song is. Not everything he plays has to be Windham hill im a professional and thats it. hes transended music w.o having to do the crazy shit. i mean c'mon this song is crazy and exciting how can u be so dumb. when he hits that note he litterally says fuck you dpando and those like you.

Jaco was a hell of an artists. Bassist perfectionist. But i gota say i love manring a good chunk more. i think of him more as a composer along w. a lifelong bassist professionalists. You know he hears new music n melodys in his head all the time. quite a gift to have. that impresses me more than the technicality, which he seems to also own.
