I had it done two days back from groin puncture. Stayed in hospital for onw night. Pain afterwards is same as during heavy periods. I have bloating and periods like discharge. Taking regular pain killers.

​ @Atlii I read on your website that the pre UFE MRI is usually done without contrast. This is good news for me as I am keen to avoid as much exposure to MRI dye as possible. However, the IR where I am based has given a referral for MRI with contrast to see the vascularity etc. of the fibroid and said usually this is standard protocol globally. Could you please share your thoughts on this? I trust your opinion the most in the world hence why I keep coming back to you..

I’ve been dealing with this. I’ve been waiting since 2018 in the U.K. to have it removed. I went to the hospital with severe pain thinking appendicitis, but MRI showed an 8.5cm mass, the report said it doesn’t look typical of a fibroid now as it’s degenerative and pedunculated, but that it could still be. Is it possible that this type of fibroid on the right side, can cause other symptoms of appendicitis too? Like loose stools, gas pains, pain when walking, abdominal distension, etc? I fear I’ll never get my life back due to these symptoms as they’ve left me so long.

I have literally been in a living hell since I had mine done in January 2023 as I had a 13 cm fibroid not a candidate but the doctor thought he could help me. I have been in bed for a year. I do not recommend the surgery to menopausal or perimenopausal, as well as no one confirmed, even with bloodwork.

I have just been diagnosed with adenomyosis. I'm post menopause on hrt patches and had a bleed. Not heavy, no pain. Was sent for an ultrasound scan (internal) and this is the result. I am continuing with my hrt as I don't wish to have a Mirena IUS fitted.

I spent almost 9 thousand dollars on IVF two losses, and one failure and even then every one kept telling me there were no options. It’s crazy to think some doctors never told me there was any way you could unblock them! And yes there is I did it! Still waiting on a success but always ask doctors for other options !!
