Best way to clean, how often? Do you have a vud on just cleaning? Thanks.
@tomshomefinds3 күн бұрын
We do a thorough cleaning about once a month. Just soap and hot water, mostly. I do clean the metal basin out about once a week when I empty all the old water and put new water in. With a little fiddling you can completely disassemble everything (it can get a little gross in there) and then we use a few bottle brushes to sort of scrub everything out. Might take 15 to 20 minutes or so. I would imagine everything (other than the electric pump) would be dishwasher safe in the top rack.

I bought like a year ago, my cord start to melt, sparked & it kept on giving me E1 error. The manufacturer says they cant read the serial number on the plug because it got sparked. So they can’t honour the warranty without receipt unless i can read them the number on the plug. Would you please check and let me know what is the number on the plug’s metal part? I would really appreciate the Help! ❤

Does the fan run constantly
@tomshomefinds5 күн бұрын
If you have it set for a specific temp the fan will run until it gets to that temperature then shut off... then turn back on when it gets colder. If you put it on "Lo" or "Hi" the fan will run constantly at a lower or higher speed.

This was great. Question... any experience with sleeved cards? Whether it's a card battle game or collectible card game where you might sleeve cards but are expected to shuffle the deck.. was curious about getting one as I don't particularly like "bend shuffling" a deck that could ruin them.
@tomshomefinds16 күн бұрын
I suspect a card shuffler of this quality would not do well with sleeved cards. I went down a rabbit hole and found a whole reddit thread about this and I found someone making hand crank card shufflers for sleeved cards. They're hand crank so you can "feel" any sort of jamming problem and stop turning before a card is damaged. They are not cheap because they appear to be hand made. Here's the link: urzastoolbox.com/shop/ Good luck!

For easier installation, attach the mount to the holder *before* attaching the holder to the vent: 1. Unscrew the nut from the back of the holder 2. Place the ball of the holder in the nut of the mount (the slits of the nut facing away from the mount) 3. Plug the mount into the holder 4. Secure the mount onto the holder by tightening the nut 5. Fully extend the hook clip on the mount by turning the adjusting knob (on the mount) counter clockwise (to the left) 6. Insert the hook into the vent. See note below. 7. Turn the mount's adjusting knob clockwise until the knob clicks. Note: For vents with horizontal louvers (slats) place the mount into the vent with the hook facing downward.

Bubble lights have been a tradition in my family going back to when my dad was a kid. I even have some of the original strands we had in my house! My problem is that all of our bubble lights get really hot and end up drying out the tree every year. This year we're going without because we got our tree early and I'd like it to live into the new year. Any tips or alternatives to help me maintain the tradition and still keep the tree alive would be amazing.
@tomshomefinds26 күн бұрын
Wow, that's cool! Growing up my dad never put them on the tree for exactly that reason! We had a fireplace mantle and that's where we'd display our bubble lights (think it was a string of 7). He had a long strip of wood with little clips on it (I think he just hotglued something together) and we'd have the bubble lights attached along that wood which would then rest on the mantel, so it looked like we had 7 little bubble light rockets on display. It was kinda nice in its own way. The only recommendation I can offer is to maybe put them on a timer or remote and only turn them on for an hour or two at a time. They DO tend to generate a lot of heat because they need to get that liquid to a certain point. Good luck!
@TheBigJB25 күн бұрын
@ Thanks! Yeah, that’s what I was thinking too (regarding the heat). I’m hoping someone will figure out a way to simulate the same experience with LEDs, but obviously you’d have to do something besides heat to get the bubbles moving.

I'm always a little surprised when people don't understand that it's general KZbin practice to have all the specific details and links in the video description. I don't always say the exact brand name because it's often hard to pronounce and can CHANGE on Amazon (seen it more than once). I also never, ever mention the specific price because that changes almost daily for a lot of products...

The description says it has "full-sized keys". What did you end up with and did it have bigger keys?
@tomshomefinds27 күн бұрын
Ultimately I ended up with the Yamaha PSREW310 (amzn.to/3Bfuxpn) and it's been great for me. I practice for about 5 days a week, 20 minutes each time. I think the keys on the PSREW310 are bigger than the rockjam keyboard keys. I'm not sure if there is an official designation for "full size keys" or not. Even the "full size" keys on a keyboard seem to be slightly smaller than the keys on the 50 year old piano in my parent's living room.

Yeeeah... they are pretty light weight and with any sort of breeze they're going to move around. I had them straight for about 5 seconds at one point and just gave up. Really helpful video. I've been looking for a shuffler that will work with smaller card types. Question: Have you noticed any jamming that causes damage to the cards? What is the condition of the sides of the cards after shuffling through multiple times? I have a deck building game that requires constant deck shuffling but I'd like to keep the condition of the cards in decent shape. Any insight you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
@tomshomefindsАй бұрын
Ooo, good point! I haven't noticed any damage to my cards yet, though I suppose that could happen with almost any auto shuffler. This one seems fairly "light weight" in that it does jam from time to time, but when it does it's not slamming the cards together, just sliding too many at once. To be fair: there are tons of shufflers out there and I suspect they all work pretty similarly... I like the cordless option a lot (had an old plug in one from the 1970's for years... man that thing was LOUD).

If it's only 3 months I have to wonder if it's still under warranty. We've had ours for a few years now and it's held up well. Hmm. Make sure everything is plugged in properly and make sure there is plenty of water in it. Heck, make sure the outlet works. If it's more than a few years old there's always a chance a USB cord was crimped or the pump just wore out. These things are relatively inexpensive and probably won't last decades.
