It was kinda crunchy to begin with but still big fun. Some of the new paint seemed to cover putty patches but others might've been just covering graffiti.

FWIW- the remakes got obliterated fast. I've still got a box in storage but will use them for doing yard work. Skating Converse and Vans now but with Remind insoles. I do love a funky, chunky shoe so if I get something that's durable- I'll reply here.

I got a set for my friend and he loves the speed plus how the wheel locks onto coping (it's slightly conical on the inside of the G-Bones he had before and these are flat) I just put in an order for myself- going with the Green 64mm this time. Over a year and finally wore them down to about 62mm- which is still a lotta wheel to work with. I'm using X99 for Skatelite and Gator Skin ramps. They finally have X99 in 60mm coming out soon.

And these were brand new F4s VS year old Dragons. Still waiting for X99 to release in a 64mm so I can do a comparison there with fresh bearings in both.

The ones I have here were 1/2 size larger than my Vans. I haven't tried any Walmart or JC Penney versions. Been seeing some fantastic options for other shoes at Ross Dress for Less. Snagged some Vans Grosso Forever and NB SBs.

Thanks! A big fat nose and that masterpiece of a tail. NGL, it could use another 1" of length between the front truck bolts and nose kick to give an easier pocket to use- but Winky doesn't seem to have any issues at all! NHS had the price marked down so it is irresistible.

I got these mainly for cess slides on transition. I kinda hate anything smaller than 60mm but got tired of waiting. The Spitfire F4 Classics slid better. The Dragon 64mm slid better, too... especially when new with ridges on them. These are v6 with a wider ride patch so v5 may slide better. They are way comfy for 99a (I have rekt knees) Shelving for now and hoping for an X99 with a Gbones shape in the future..

Plenty fast. If I'm doing reverts or cess slides I go harder. On shite roads, they are magnificent. I should have got some clips of the pumptrack at this park. That is a horrible surface but the Rictas just glide.

I am loving the green! Almost pulled the trigger on the 64mm Greens but my current Dragons are holding up so nicely. And at 64mm it will be a looong while before they wear down for replacement consideration. Christopher Hiett is killing it on those Dragons!!

@@friscotecsk8s119 It was a surprise to me that Marc Fisher even did these. From what I heard Authentic Brands Group keeps a tight reign on the "Classic" models. That's why these are called Proto 600 and not Prototype 600. The license for the OG models costs more so they change the name so they don't have to pay more for the license and don't have to be exact replicas. Not the way to go if you ask me. They would sell a lot more if they were true to the original design. Also, the torch colorway has had many reissues, they should have done different colorways. Regardless, I bought 2 pairs myself. Now I'm waiting for the colorway at JCPenney to go on sale. Not going to pay $90 for these.

Hey, I went with Indy Super Hards for my bottom bushing on the bowl setup. Couldn't seem to tighten them enough to prevent speed wobbles if I was going stupid fast. Looks like they got malformed. I did leave my board in the car, which probably isn't smart if you're in Florida. They likely got baked. I'm really gonna have to be mindful when the parks get scorching hot in the Summer. I've had bushings turn into gummy bears before.

YES! The Ricta Clouds are exactly what I have on my other board. I love both for different skating. Maybe my favorite wheel ever- and I'm on the 78a. Pure butter.

@@renheitman heck yeah! I did pre-emptively Gorilla tape the toes. I'm 52 years old and my feet haven't been this healthy in awhile. My Vans feel like I'm barefooted now. Concrete takes a toll whether you're skating, standing, walking. Now my health meter isn't depleting during a session. Plus, they are just sexy as all get-out.

@@francisfinch2735 Nice!! Yeah, if I have to be honest, Vans are not always the most comfy shoes even though they are an all time great skate shoe. Do you have any of the previous re-issues or versions of this shoe? I have one I bought from a UK site about a year ago and these ones are quite different with material, padding, etc. I never owned an original pair so just curious how accurate these new ones are.

I got some good pointers about more speed and am getting better roll ins. Time for a bigger transition! Same for the FS rock!

OMG!! I know some genuine sex bolts were circulating awhile back. Most of what I see ain't the real deal Holyfield. What you see in the video is actually retro griptape with the Powell Dragon and sex bolts in the design. The hardware with Gorilla Ribs is a smidge too long for Flightdecks - and puckers out the top. The hardware with Enjoi rails were pitiful and the heads broke off (using screwdriver not screwgun) before even tight. Went to Lowes and got same length as the Enjoi woodscrews but thicker, w/ courser thread Also used 3M double sided tape under the rails. Still not as good as Sex Bolts, but nothing ever will be.
